Procedure Tender through the European public procedure in accordance with the (amended) Procurement Act 2012. Client The client for this tender is the Municipality of Breda. For more information about the Municipality of Breda, please refer to the website from the municipality: www.breda.nl. Introduction The assignment concerns: the acquisition of two fully electric executive vehicles on the basis of Full Operational Lease. The vehicles are used for business trips by members of the Mayor and Mayoress Councilors, who are transported by permanent, municipal executive drivers. During these journeys, work is often done, including on a laptop and/or a tablet, and telephone or digital consultations take place regularly. A comfortable, quiet and an ergonomic working and travel environment is therefore essential. The current vehicles, two hybrid passenger cars in the D segment (BMW 5 series), no longer meet the wishes and requirements of users. Particularly the limited legroom in the back, the low/tight one entry and the limited options for sitting comfortably during longer journeys lead to complaints and inefficient use of travel time. In addition, the vehicles no longer match the municipal sustainability policy and the desire for a complete electric fleet.
