Description
The United States Military Academy (USMA) at West Point has a commercial requirement for service contract in which the Contractor will provide all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary to perform water Leak detectioninspection methods to find the areas leaking in the Cadet Pool bldg 727and Therapy Pool bldg 700B only. Between both pools at West Point, losing an average of 50K gallons a day. The contractor will conduct underwater inspection and leak detection of the poolsystem to locate any leaks and identify any failed concealed pipes responsible for water loses less evaporation. The services shall be provided in accordance with the Scope Of Work Statement (SOW). The customer is the United States ArmyGarrison West Point, Directorate of Public Works (USAGWP-DPW). DPW support-s the maintenance of the infrastructure at West Point. This is a commercial service requirement is new contract to detect document type of leaks, location and approximate rate of loss by written description and underwater photographs. The contractor will provide all labor, equipment, materials, andsupervision necessary to perform water leak detection inspection of the Cadet Pool and Therapy Pool. The services shall be provided in accordance with the Scope Of Work Statement. The repair of the leaks is not included in this scope.
Work Requirements:Leak detection methods to be used:*Filter equipment and concealed pipes will be isolated from the pool and balance tankby many temporary plugs so this portion can be checked for loss independently.
