Scope of Work
Key Tasks and Deliverables:
1- Workshop Design:
Collaborate with FHI 360 to develop a comprehensive leadership workshop
curriculum aligned with the mission of the Tomorrow-s Leaders Program.
Incorporate interactive and experiential learning methods to engage
participants effectively.
Ensure that the workshop content addresses key areas such as leadership
development, cross-cultural communication, academic preparedness, and
community engagement, as well as unconscious bias, and Gender Equality
and Social Inclusion (GESI) considerations for incoming undergraduate and
graduate students from the MENA region.
Final design will incorporate feedback and be subject to approval of U.S. State
Department, Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs.
2- Workshop Facilitation:
Lead two virtual workshops, one for incoming undergraduate student s
(approximately 45) and one for incoming graduate students (approximately
26), adhering to the established schedule and format. The same material will
be adapted for both workshops, with adjustments to accommodate the
different age groups.
Workshops will take over two consecutive days, mornings EDT, online via
Zoom, during the first or second week of August 2024 (to be confirmed), each
workshop not to exceed 3-hours. Attendees will join in the
afternoon/evening hours of their local time zone in the MENA region.
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment conducive to
participant engagement and active participation.
Encourage dialogue, critical thinking, peer collaboration, and cohort identity
among workshop participants.
