Context & Background
Berytech is a leading organization in the Entrepreneurial Eco-system in Lebanon, that aims to provide a conducive environment for the creation and development of startups, through incubation, business support, counseling, funding, networking, and company hosting, hence taking part in the economic revival of the country, participating in wealth and job creation, and retaining graduates and high-level skills in Lebanon.

The Rural Entrepreneurs in Agri-Food (REAF) program aims at strengthening the business and product viability of innovative startups tackling sustainable rural economic development operating in South Mount Lebanon, Central and West Bekaa. The program will provide the startups with the tools to transform their ideas into sustainable and profitable businesses. REAF-s youth training will enhance their entrepreneurship mentality and entry into the job market.

The REAF Youth Training Program is a unique opportunity for young people in rural areas of South of Mount Lebanon, Central and West Bekaa to acquire the skills and knowledge needed to launch successful rural economic businesses. The program aims to strengthen the socio-economic resilience of vulnerable groups and promote innovation in the sectors of agrifood, eco-tourism, sustainable agriculture, and circular economy.

Scope of work
The REAF Program seeks a Leadership Skills Trainer to deliver the following requirements:

Delivering workshop content and materials covering the 5 main topics: Resilience and Adaptability, Financial Literacy, Communication and Stress Management, Emotional Intelligence, and Intrapreneurship and Teamwork
Creating interactive activities, discussions, and exercises to facilitate learning and engagement.
Conducting the workshops in-person twice. Once in each area, over 5 days, being in the Bekaa area and in the South of Mount Lebanon area, for 20 to 25 youths in each area, aged between 18 and 35 years old.
Adapting workshop content to the participants' level of understanding and engagement throughout the sessions.
Providing guidance, support, and mentorship to participants to encourage the practical application of learned skills.
expected deliverables
• Deliver the workshop outlines and content for each of the five topics, including presentation materials and activity plans prior to the set dates.

• Deliver engaging and interactive workshops covering the 5 main topics of leadership skills over 5 days for each targeted area on a date to be agreed upon with the team.

Following the Resilience and Adaptability topic, participants will develop the ability to navigate challenges with a positive outlook, bounce back from setbacks, and embrace change confidently.
Following the Financial Literacy topic, participants will gain practical knowledge about budgeting, saving, and investing, empowering them to make informed financial decisions and plan for their future.
Following the Communication and Stress Management topic, participants will enhance communication skills, learn conflict resolution, and gain stress management techniques for effective personal and professional interactions.
Following the Emotional Intelligence topic, participants will cultivate self-awareness, empathy, and better interpersonal skills, enabling them to manage emotions and collaborate effectively.
Following the Intrapreneurship and Teamwork topic, participants will grasp intrapreneurial thinking, learn to generate innovative ideas, and acquire teamwork skills for contributing positively to teams and communities.
• Provide the participants with guidance and resources to continue their learning journey beyond the workshops.

• Provide the team with an evaluation of the overall progress and feedback on areas of improvement for future workshops.

Qualifications
Proven experience in delivering workshops or training sessions to diverse audiences, preferably youth or rural communities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a simple and relatable manner.
Ability to create interactive and dynamic learning environments that encourage active participation and knowledge retention.
Awareness and sensitivity to the cultural context and challenges of rural communities.
Willingness to adapt workshop content and approach based on the unique needs and preferences of the participants.
Capacity to connect with youth, understand their concerns, and inspire them to develop leadership skills.
