Background: The Dental Service at the Lee County VA Healthcare Center currently operates an aging RAMVAC Dental Vacuum System that provides essential dry suction for removing saliva, debris, and aerosols during dental procedures. This system has supported clinical operations for several years but is now exhibiting performance degradation, with increasing difficulty and cost in sourcing replacement parts due to manufacturer obsolescence and reduced support.
