Procurement of an instrument platform for global protein analysis based on fluid chromatography linked to mass spectrometry (LC-MS).
The instrument should be used for quantitative measurement of protein amount throughout the proteome in biological samples (bacteria, fungi, animal cell lines, primary human and murina cells and tissues). The platform will be used to analyze a large number of samples and should therefore enable robust operation and precise quantification. We are looking for an instrument that can expand the present Mass spectrometric capacity at Umea University, which is currently fully utilized, and which is compatible with existing workflows.
