This project addresses the need to replace aging infrastructure and upgrade the tenant emergency power distribution system and to ensure compliance with current codes and standards. The existing indoor diesel generator, installed in the late 1990-s, is currently at its maximum electrical loading and is due to be upgraded. The proposed solution is to install a single 1.75 MW (1, 759 kVA) standby generator. This generator will serve the tenant emergency power needs. The project scope includes the removal of outdated electrical infrastructure including but not limited to tenant-owned electrical switchgear and distribution equipment. This project will install the new generator, exterior pad mount fuel system, new electrical switchgear and distribution equipment.
