Through this assignment, the city of Diksmuide wants to work simultaneously from two highly intertwined spatial instruments:

• the preparation of a municipal policy plan for space for the entire Diksmuide territory;

• The preparation of a municipal spatial implementation plan (RUP) Center 2.0 combined With a ordered urban development code for the center area.

Both products are coordinated in terms of content and process and together.

The assignment includes:

Assignment 1 - Policy plan Space:

• A strategic vision 2040-2050 for the spatial development of Diksmuide and her partial cores;

• Two detailed policy frameworks:

Olinous cores and villages (including action plan);

oklimate robust open space, water management and living environment (including action plan);

• Optional: elaboration of a third policy framework;

• An integrated participation process and communication plan;

•A Monitoring strategy for policy succession.

Assignment 2 - RUP Center 2.0 + Construction code:

• An update and simplification of the planning framework for the center zone;

• a slim RUP that only arranges destinations and density;

• an urban development code that establishes qualitative regulations for buildings, public space and living environment;

• Investigation into the cancellation and replacement of existing BPAs and RUPs regarding living;

• Integration of specific provisions, such as rules on solar panels.
