The city of Kotka (procurement unit, customer) requests offers for laundry services for its own work clothes, linens, mattresses, carpets and other textiles in accordance with the request for offers and its attachments. Procurement is excluded uniforms for the parking inspection. Laundry services are procured according to the customer's needs for the use of different areas of responsibility. The largest subscribers in terms of volume are early childhood education (linen and other textiles and mattresses for kindergartens) and technical services (work and warning clothing). If necessary, laundry services are also ordered for washing and maintenance of work clothes and other textiles such as curtains and tablecloths in other fields. The cleaning of these textiles may require some delicate washing. The customer decides for himself to what extent to use rental textiles during the contract period and to what extent own textiles and laundry services included in this purchase. In addition, the customer's units partially wash their own textiles themselves. The laundry service provider must provide it overall service, which includes picking up the laundry from the customer's various offices, washing, processing, stain removal, finishing, packaging, protection and transport back to the customer at the agreed time. The laundry is picked up indoors and the laundry is returned to the interiors of the units according to separately agreed schedules.
