The object of purchase is a laser system for the distribution of the frequency of the optical atomic clock. The system consists of 3 (three) units, one laser oscillator and two laser amplifiers that can be simultaneously powered from the laser oscillator.
Laser oscillator and amplifiers are fiber lasers doped with atomserbium with continuous emission at a wavelength of 1542 nm. The mentioned wavelength is in the telecom C band of frequencies and enables the transmission of the laser by a dark optical train with minimal losses due to suppression in the optical fiber. On the other hand, the specified wavelength is compatible with the optical frequencythin comb and high-precision reference - instruments used for the operation of the optical atomic clock at the Institute of Physics.
