This buoy would collect real-time wave data that serve community needs for decisions on scales from daily (e.g., safety for maritime operations and coastal hazards) to longer planning horizons (e.g., resilience for climate change and ecosystem function). The buoy and anchoring system would be installed from June to October, and may move up to 5 times per season, within the relative area.
