SOLICITATION NOTICE:The National Park Service, Interior Regions 3/4/5, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the Lakeview Accessibility Improvements project for Indiana Dunes National Park in Michigan City, IN. Work will consist of providing all labor, materials, tools and other equipment necessary for removal of existing raised planters, light poles, portions of concrete wall and concrete pavement, and construction of a new accessible concrete ramp with concrete seating, handrails, a concrete pad seating area, concrete walks, solar lighting, sand fill, accessible beach access matting, and at grade plaza landscaping. Two optional bid items include new benches and additional beach access matting. We anticipate work will begin in Sept 2023.SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P6423B0008PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $500, 000 and $750, 000TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Porter County, OH will apply. EVALUATION FACTORS: See solicitation for detailsNorth American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 237990, and the size standard is $45 million.
