Request for proposalsscope of servicesthe city is seeking a solution to aid and enhance the method by which it schedules its workforce. The solution(s) will complement the city s continual process of aligning the needs and priorities of the city with its employees. It will allow the city to ensure the process meets not only our business unit requirements but also the organization s goal to provide exemplary service to our citizens.the city currently relies on an extensive collection of policies and procedures as well as word documents and excel spreadsheets to schedule and manage staffing requirements. The city anticipates utilizing the proposed labour scheduling software to address time intensive manual processes associated with roster development, overtime management and call-out notification. The labour scheduling software will be utilized to schedule union and non-union employees for independent departments with separate operations, at multiple locations.
