Tender Details

The purpose of the procedure is to select a Contractor to carry out specialized laboratory analyzes of approximately 100 samples of raw materials in order to precisely determine the share of non-carbonate fractions of calcium and magnesium. The test results will be used for correct reporting CO2 emissions and reducing the uncertainty of emission calculations under the EU ETS settlements for Holcim Polska S.A.I. Description of the subject of the order: The subject of the order is to carry out tests on samples of raw materials (limestone, marl) delivered successively in the amount of approximately 9 pieces per week. The offer should include a unit price for individual laboratory analyzes and a flat-rate cost for the final processing of the results. II. The scope of the valuation must include:1. Chemical analysis (XRF) with total determination oxide content (including SiO2, Al2O3, Fe2O3, CaO, MgO) and loss on ignition (LOI) in two temperature ranges - for all samples provided (approx. 100 pcs.).2. Mineralogical analysis (XRD) including qualitative identification of mineral phases and determining their quantitative share - for all delivered samples (approx. 100 pieces).3. Thermal analysis (TG/DTA) with identification of thermal effects related to the decomposition of minerals for a minimum of 30 samples. 4. Preparation of results (lump sum cost) including balancing the content of CaO and MgO, identifying their forms of occurrence, determining the share of the carbonate fraction and computationally determining the final share of non-carbonate CaO and MgO in individual tests...
