Laboratory automation for Sykehuset Østfold HF The acquisition includes an automation line with connected analytical instruments gathered in a fully automatic system, including intermediate goods, conveyor belts, pre- and post-analytical functions (replacement for today's automation solution at Kalnes), as well as stand-alone instruments at the locations in Askim, Fredrikstad, Moss, Sarpsborg and Halden, to ensure uniformity of method and connection to a common middleware solution. The automation solution should have a high degree of flexibility both regarding physical solution and middleware and can easily incorporate new analysis instruments, modules and tests (analyses) that may become relevant in the years ahead. The purpose of the procurement is to safeguard Østfold Hospital's level of activity and need for development over the next 10 years the years, and the solution will contribute to the realization of the Center for Laboratory Medicine's basic idea that everything that can be automated should be automated and everything that can be connected to an automation solution should be connected regardless of subject area.
