The Department of Veterans Affairs, James J. Peters Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VISN 2 South), intends to award a sole-source, firm fixed-price, five-year FSS BPA (FSS-DO) to Abbott Laboratories, Inc., FSS Contract #36F79719D0024, in accordance with FAR Subpart 8.405-6.The acquisition sought is an FSS-BPA that will cover consumables and supplies needed to produce a cost-per-reportable result (CPRR) at the James J. Peters Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and New York Harbor Healthcare System.VA personnel utilize the equipment and consumables to perform in-house testing of immunosuppressants including, but not limited to, HIV Ag/Ab p-24, Tacrolimus, Sirolimus, Cyclosporine, Syphilis, Hemoglobin A1c, Estradiol, Anti -TG. The NAICS is 334516 with a small business size standard of 1, 000 employees.James J. Peters Veterans Affairs Medical Center (JJP VAMC) Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Service, VISN 2 South, requires automated single platform immunoassay analyzers to perform a comprehensive menu of tests. Two (2) identical single platform analyzers are required due to staffing deficits, space availability, and cost savings/avoidance. The sensitivity and specificity of each assay should yield at least a 95% confidence interval. The selected analyzers will be used for Hepatitis testing, HIV, BNP (B-type Natriuretic Peptides), PCT (Brahms Procalcitonin), Tacrolimus, Cyclosporine, and Sirolimus testing and SARS Covid IgG SARS Covid IgG II. VA Harbor Healthcare System, Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Service, VISN 2 South, requires a one-year Cost Per Reportable Result (CPRR) contract to perform the comprehensive menu of tests including Hepatitis, HIV, and Tacrolimus.
