Pääkaupunkiseudun Kaupunkiliikenne Oy (Kaupunkiliikenne) organizes a tender for the Kulosaari metro bridge repair contract on behalf of the Helsinki City Transport Authority (HKL) within the scope of the procurement notice and its appendices. Kulosaari metro bridge (U-6458) is located in Helsinki on the Kalasatama - Kulosaari metro line. The Kulosaari bridge is a water bridge that crosses Vanhankaupunginselka. The west end of the bridge is located inside the Shopping Center REDI. The bridge was completed in 1973 and since the length is 420 m. The repair work on the bridge will be carried out during the metro service interruption and it will tentatively be scheduled for 05-11/2027. Preparatory work must be completed before the traffic stoppage begins. The Kulosaari metro bridge repair contract is implemented as a complete contract. The content of the contract package is described in the contract program and in the attachments to the request for participation. The contractor acts as the main contractor and as the main implementer as defined by the legislation, responsible for both site management duties and site services. These obligations and services are presented in the contract program and general contract terms (YSE 1998). After acceptance of the contract, the main contractor's site management responsibilities and duties related to work safety at the site continue until the contract deficiencies and errors noted at the reception have been corrected.
