MODC owns and operates the Kaizer Meadow Environmental Management Centre (KMEMC), located at 450 Kaizer Meadow Road in Sherwood, Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia, off Highway 14. The facility includes a municipal solid waste landfill, a construction and demolition debris landfill, septage disposal lagoons, a contaminated soil pad, and a public drop-off area. The existing Scale House requires renovations to improve its layout, support efficient operator and customer workflows, and better meet staff and customer service needs.
The successful Proponent shall enter into the attached Professional Services Agreement (PSA) with MODC. MODC intends to conclude negotiations and finalize an agreement with the top-ranked proponent within 30 days commencing from the date MODC provides notification of project Award.
Note that a Purchase Order is required, as well as the PSA. Both the Purchase Order and the PSA must be fully executed prior to project kick-off.
