Kristiansund municipality v/ Eiendomsdrift is to establish a new building with a staff base and 2 homes for people with functional impairments who receive services from the housing and rehabilitation unit in Kristiansund municipality. The measure is set back from existing activity center (Bekkefaret 13) and residences (Bekkefaret 14 and 16) to preserve as much as possible of the green/park area between Bekkefaret 13 and Bekkefaret 14/16. The residences face south and west, while the staff part is located as a "back to the ABC road in the north. The measure has two entrances. The residences have own patios that are intended to be shielded with vegetation. The homes have pitched roofs to adapt to the roof shape of existing buildings (cf. the regulatory regulations), while the staff base located at the rear has a flat roof to emphasize the small house character.
