The City of Kawartha Lakes is requesting proposals from qualified airport operators to manage and oversee all aspects of airport operations at the Kawartha Lakes Municipal Airport, including staffing, equipment maintenance, regulatory compliance, and aviation fuel farm operations. The selected Proponent must be capable of ramping up services on short notice and maintain operations seven (7) days per week.
The successful Proponent agrees to provide the Contracted Services with reasonable care, skill and diligence as any prudent operator would, with emphasis given to the following, as applicable:
provision of airport availability as per published hours of operation;
compliance with applicable Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs); and
Transport Canada-s Aerodrome Standards and Recommended Practices, (TP312)safety standards will be incorporated into procedures where practicable.
