The building will replace the current care institution Storbakken and will function as a care and housing facility for young people aged 13 18. The institution must have capacity for up to four young people and must facilitate a safe, functional and homely living environment. At the same time, the building will support the child protection service's work by being able to be used for various assistance measures, follow-up measures, emergency placements and transitions between different care and treatment services. Alta municipality wants a flexible and future-oriented solution that allows for adaptation to changing needs within the municipality's health, care and child welfare services. The building is constructed with a total usable area (BRA) of approx. 324 m2 and must contain, among other things: . Four residential rooms for young people . Common living room and kitchen . Own TV/living room . Visitor flat for relatives and visitors . Staff part with office, meeting and work facilities . Necessary support functions, storage, technical rooms and sanitary rooms Design, layout and choice of materials must be adapted to the target group and contribute to a robust, safe and dignified housing offers with good working conditions for employees and a good framework for young people's everyday life and development.
