Tender Details
The aim of the project is to allow the replenishment of water from a lonage from a water intake on the Jonage canal. This impoundment should make it possible to recreate aquatic environments over a length of 1.6km. It will also make it possible to maintain adequate conditions (piezometric rise, humiditysoil quality) for environments associated with river annexes (e.g. riparian forest, etc.). The project is part of the Rhone program aimed at restoring the Rhone and its annexes. Of the 15 km of lones remaining after the development of gravel pits within the Grand Parc Miribel Jonage, only 2 km are still in waterpermed. It also aims to maintain the heritage originality of the site which allowed its designation as a sensitive natural area of the Ain and Rhone departments, or even as Natura 2000.
