The Town of North Attleborough is seeking proposals from qualified firms to conduct a comprehensive Job Task Analysis and Classification Review of its municipal workforce. This initiative is intended to evaluate and modernize job descriptions, compensation, assess internal equity, and ensure compliance with industry best practices and legal standards. The scope will cover approximately 40 Steelworkers, 27 AFSCME members, 41 Laborers, and 25 non-union employees, representing a diverse range of departments and job functions. The Town is seeking two separate bids: one for the 40 Steelworkers and 27 AFSCME members, and another for all four employee groups. After reviewing the submitted bids, the Town will determine whether to proceed with coverage for all employees or limit it to the two municipal unions.This project will support the Town-s broader goals of transparency, operational efficiency, and workforce development. By aligning job classifications and duties with current operational needs, the Town hopes to promote fair compensation practices, improve employee morale, and strengthen recruitment and retention efforts. The Town invites experienced consultants with a proven track record in public sector classification and compensation studies to submit their proposals for consideration.
