The Department of Veterans Affairs currently occupies medical office and related space located at the Jackson Community Outpatient Clinic, Jackson, TN in a lease that will be expiring. The Government intends to enter into a real property succeeding expansion lease to lease 28, 830 Rentable Square Footage (RSF), with a minimum of 100 parking spaces, for utilization as a community-based outpatient clinic. The lease term requirement is for 10 years, five (5) years firm, five (5) years non-firm. The space must be available for occupancy by May 1, 2027.
This procurement in being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1-Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. NAICS Code 531120 applies to this procurement.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, the Government is considering alternative space if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the Government, will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime.
