Tenders are invited for Jacks River Primary School Rehabilitation & Special Education Unit, St. Mary (#073590) .

The Government of Jamaica has received funding from the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) in the amount of US$7, 521, 000 towards the cost of the Basic Needs Trust Fund Ninth Cycle (BNTF 9). The Jamaica Social Investment Fund as the implementing agency, intends to apply part of the proceeds of this grant to cover payments under contracts for the following:


Bid # 8325: Jacks River Primary School Rehabilitation & Special Education Unit, St. Mary (#073590)

The rehabilitation of the existing school (315 square metres) including establishing two (2) special needs classrooms (45 square metres) and their associated bathrooms, rehabilitation of bathroom and termite treatment for the compound. The project will also include metalwork, general painting, plumbing and electrical works. The classrooms must meet accessibility requirements for disabled persons, fencing and water harvesting will be a part of the external works. The project will also involve the establishing of a special needs space within the existing block. Construction Period is six (6) months.

Bid Security: Bids MUST be accompanied by Bid Security in the amount of Fifty Thousand Dollars (J$50, 000.00)
