RequirementThe City of Ottawa has a requirement for a Contractor to supply and deliver Municipal Castings, Frames and Covers in accordance with the specifications, terms and conditions of the attached Request for Tenders (“RFT”).In early Spring 2026 the City solicited Request for Tenders (RFT) No. 33426-40035-T01 (Supply and Delivery of Municipal Casting, Frames and Covers) via MERX, however the City was unable to secure quantities in time for the 2026 construction season through this procurement process. This Request for Standing Offer (RFSO) No. 33426-40035-S01 is an attempt to secure any on-hand quantities immediately available in the market for the 2026 construction season.PROPONENTS SHALL NOTE the firm delivery timeframes specified under Section 1.4.2 when preparing their offers. Proponents who exceed this timeframe will be deemed non-responsive and given no further consideration.Simultaneous to the solicitation of this RFSO the City is further advertising Request for Tenders (RFT) No. 33426-40035-T02 to procure a standard shipment of units that can be manufactured, supplied and delivered within fourteen (14) weeks.
