Council has an ongoing requirement to replace and refresh end-user computing devices including laptops, desktops, workstations, tablets, and associated peripherals.The current main fleet comprises approximately 2, 000 devices (laptops/desktops) across Council facilities.The specification defines Sunshine Coast Council's requirements for PC as a Service (PCaaS) – a comprehensive managed service encompassing the supply, service cost, deployment, support, lifecycle management, and disposal of end user computing devices.Council seeks to transition from traditional hardware procurement to a fully managed service model where a single supplier assumes end-to-end accountability for Council's computing device fleet.The PCaaS covers the complete lifecycle of end user computing devices through a single point of contact for:• Hardware Supply: Provision of enterprise-grade computing devices meeting Council specifications.• Service Cost: Per-device-per-month fixed operating expenditure.• Pre-Deployment: Device imaging, configuration, asset tagging, and quality assurance.• Deployment: Delivery, installation, and user handover services.• Support & Maintenance: Break/fix, helpdesk, spare pool management, and warranty coordination.• Lifecycle Management: Proactive refresh, technology currency, and fleet optimisation.• End of Life: Secure data destruction, environmentally responsible disposal, and asset return.Council currently uses SCCM task sequence imaging, however, is working towards a Windo...
