Itt2444 Offset Ecological Restoration Works - Beerburrum to Nambour
Tenders are invited for the provision of Ecological Restoration Services for Environmental Offsets at Kirby’s Road Environment Reserve. The purpose of the Beerburrum to Nambour (B2N) Offset Ecological Restoration contract is to deliver ecological restoration and habitat enhancement services within the Offset Area at Kirby’s Road Environment Reserve, Obi Obi. Ecological restoration services are required to meet and/or exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as prescribed in the B2N Technical Specification. The B2N Technical Specification has been developed to guide the targeted restoration of 190 hectares of Koala and Grey-Headed Flying-Fox Habitat. Revegetation, assisted natural regeneration, maintenance, monitoring and reporting over a 4-year and 2-month period is included within this scope of works.Council requires contract services to be performed in an ecologically considered, responsive, efficient, safe and environmentally sensitive manner. Services are to be performed by qualified, skilled and experienced natural resource management practitioners who will uphold Council’s values with regard to public safety, protection of assets, sustainability and customer service excellence.Ecological restoration work will be delivered in accordance with an Annual Schedule. The work will be delivered within Kirbys Road Environment Reserve, across 13 Management Units as prescribed in the B2N Technical Specification.
