Sunshine Coast Council (Council) is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced lead consultant (The Contractor) to prepare a fully resolved construction design documentation package for the new Caloundra Community & Creative Hub - Town Square. The Principal Consultant will lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary team to prepare and develop detailed design documentation packages for each of the specialised disciplines, suitable for construction tendering of the town square and will include designing transitions to the existing adjacent public space and will include all necessary public utility infrastructure retention, relocation and addition, both above and below ground. The Principal Consultant will also be responsible for the engagement and management of the following sub-consultants/disciplines but not limited to:• Principal Consultant • Access Consultant• Landscape Architecture • ESD Consultant • Civil Engineering • Irrigation Design• Architecture • Wayfinding• Hydraulic Engineering • CPTED and Security • Structural Engineering • Horticulturist• Electrical Engineering • 3D Modelling & Graphic Visualisations• Smart City Engineering • Quantity Surveyor• Architectural Lighting • Building Certification-Including Demolition Works• Sustainability Consultant The contract is anticipated to commence in July 2025, with Issue for Construction package completed by May 2026.
