sealed tenders, plainly marked on the envelope "tender 2019-492 - sooke lake intake tower - remediation" will be received by the purchaser, integrated water services of the capital regional district at their offices at 479 island highway, victoria, british columbia up to 2:00 pm local time on may 17, 2019, at which time they will be opened in public.
the works to be constructed under this contract include, but are not limited to, upgrades to the following systems at the sooke lake intake tower and other buildings at the sooke lake dam site:
. Emergency power systems
. Electrical distribution systems
. Instrumentation and controls
. Provision of a new gantry crane and support structure
. Building mechanical systems
. Crack/ leak repair of concrete in dry well.
. Minor structural repairs.

the lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
a non-mandatory pre-tender site meeting to review the sooke lake intake site will be held on wednesday april 24, 2019. Contractors interested in attending the site meeting are to meet at the goldstream gate entrance to the sooke lake watershed (furthest west public access of sooke lake road). The crd will provide a vehicle escort from the goldstream gate to the sooke lake dam site (25 km on active logging roads). Four-wheel drive vehicles are recommended. This will be the only opportunity to visit the site during the tender period. For technical inquiries please submit a request for clarification via email to bryan.gallagher@stantec.com.
