3. Clinical Purpose

The single Plane digital imaging angiogram machine would allow interventional cardiologists perform

coronary angiogram, percutaneous coronary intervention, endovascular procedures, hemodynamic

studies and device closures for structural heart disease.

4. Level of Use

The angiogram machine would be used at tertiary hospital which is the Philippine Heart Center.

5. Clinical Department

The angiogram machine will be used at the cardiac catheterization laboratory of the Philippine Heart

Center.

6. Overview of functional requirements

Single plane ceiling mounted for digital imaging for cardiac and vascular procedure. This would include:
Item Specifications
- Flat panel digital detector.
- X-Ray tube and Generation.
-Table with length of 300cm and width of 50cm, with a top load capacity of 250kg, the table should be able to move longitudinally, transversely and degree rotation up to 120 degrees and can tilt table. The table should withstand chest compression during CPR. The table must have a handle that control table top movements by the operator, a side control console and additional panning knob.
- Power injector.
- Overhead surgical light source.
- 4 flat screen high definition 19-20 inch monitors, image storage capacity - 100, 000 images.
- Control room workstation which should have 3 flat screen monitors, PC based for CD-R Dicom review and CD/DVD burner, desk intercom system, printer for angiogram recording, printer for film.
