This Request for Proposal (RFP) is an invitation by The Township to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of an IT Strategic Plan as further described in Section 4: Specifications and Requirements - RFP Particulars (the “Deliverables”). Information Technology (“IT”) is a division within the Corporate Services Department. Some IT responsibilities include Network and Server infrastructure, Desktop Hardware, Telecommunications, and support for the Township-s enterprise software. The IT Division currently supports approximately 200 staff with varying hardware including Desktop/Laptop/Tablet computers as well as servers both in physical and virtual forms located at any one of 6 facilities. The Township of West Lincoln operates with an in-house IT Department. There has been steady growth and a rapid change within the Township-s culture resulting in an increased reliance on technology to help deliver efficient quality programs and services to residents. The ongoing nature of these conditions is the motivation behind the Township-s desire to develop an Information Technology Strategic Plan.
