IT OT I.1.1 Introduction In order to make good decisions, employees must have access to the right data and associated reports. At Water-Link, the data from different source systems is brought together in a central data platform: the DIP or 'Data Integration Platform' on Microsoft Azure. Reports are built from the DIP in Microsoft Power BI. The DIP must be able to easily access data to applications such as E-counter, meter portal, advance payment module. In 2024, the made the decision to phase out the existing SAP BW data platform by 2028 and adopt it in the Azure data platform. This reduces maintenance work, eliminates duplicate data processing and increases data quality. Water-Link also wants to evolve towards a Self-Service Business Intelligence (BI) organization, where employees can draw up reports themselves and make optimal use of data. Water-Link wants to make communication with customers and suppliers smoother through applications such as e-counter or contractor portal. These applications are powered by the data integration platform. Building and managing these applications is also part of this assignment. To realize this ambition, Water-Link is looking for a supplier who can achieve this can maintain, improve and expand a central environment on Microsoft Azure.
