Iso Iiluoto is a recreation place for the personnel of the City of Helsinki. Iiluoto is located in front of Vuosaari. Personnel can arrive on the island by their boats or by shuttle boat. There are many activities on the island, from barbecues to rowing or kayaking. For children, there are toys, a sandbox, a beach, a funhouse, and swings. Ball games, fishing and a great atmosphere. Iso Iiluodo has staff accommodation from 31 May to 30 August 2026. A host works in Iso Iiluodo during office hours. Security service is needed 31.5.2026-30.8.2026 on weekdays from 19.00 to 11.00 (according to the 16h ferry schedule) and on weekends from Friday at 19.00 to Monday at 11:00 a.m. The City Office issues the security guard's ticket to the tidal boat. The security guard's duties include, among other things:- reception of ferries/checking of personnel cards 8 times a day-key service for guests, as well as guidance on accommodations (gas, refrigerators, stoves, rooms). 12 rooms on the island (this guidance is also provided by the host of the island during his office hours, so joint work on.-water service in the main house and in the sauna (sea water device on, fresh water from the tap into 20L tanks, and in the sauna a 200L bucket full of fresh spring water).
