CONSTRUCTION OF BARANGAY OUTPOST LOCATED AT SOUTHVILLE 9 PHASE 1-5, BARANGAY PINUGAY, BARAS, RIZAL



1. The Municipality of Baras, through the Trust Fund intends to apply the sum of FIVE HUNDRED NINETY NINE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED NINETY SIx PESOS & 30/100 ONLY ( Php 599, 896.30) being the Approved Budget for Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract COMPLETION OF RURAL HEALTH UNIT, BARANGAY MABINI, BARAS, RIZAL. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at Bid opening.



2. The Municipality of Baras now calls for the submission of Letters of Intent (LOIs) from potential Bidders to apply for eligibility for CONSTRUCTION OF BARANGAY OUTPOST LOCATED AT SOUTHVILLE 9 PHASE 1-5, BRGY. PINUGAY, BARAS, RIZAL . Bidders should possess a valid PCAB license applicable to the above type and cost of the contract, have completed a similar contract with a value of at least fifty percent (50%) of the ABC, and meet the other minimum eligibility requirements stated in the Eligibility Documents. Interested Bidders must submit their LOIs on or before February 5, 2018 at the Office of the Municipal Engineer and secure the Eligibility Documents therefrom. Applications for eligibility will be evaluated on a -œpass/fail- basis. The last day for the submission of the accomplished Eligibility Documents shall be on the date of the opening of Eligibility Documents: February 7, 2018 ( 2:00 pm ) at Office of the Municipal Engineer.





3. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations Part A (IRR-A) of Republic Act 9184 (R.A. 9184), otherwise known as the -œGovernment Procurement Reform Act, - and is restricted, unless otherwise stated, to organizations with at least seventy-five percent (75%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines. In accordance with the IRR-A of R.A 9184, only Bids from eligible Bidders will be opened. In accordance with the IRR-A of R.A. 9184 a contract will only be awarded to the Lowest Calculated and Responsive Bidder who was determined as such during post-qualification.



4. Interested Bidders shall submit their accomplished Eligibility Documents to the BAC Secretariat at the address given below from during Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.



5. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by Bidders at the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Php 2, 000.00. The Bidding Documents shall be received personally by the bidder or his authorized representative on or before February 6, 2018.



6. Eligible Bidders must submit their Bids at the address below on or before February 7, 2018 at 2:00pm. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid security in the form of 5% of the total bid cost or an equivalent amount I a freely convertible currency. Late Bids shall not accepted. Bid opening shall be on February 7, 2018 at 2:00 pm. Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders- representatives who choose to attend at the address below at Office of the Municipal Engineer.



7. Completion of the Works is required by 60 calendar days.



8. The Municipality of Baras reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all Bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Bidder or Bidders.
