Tender Details

Denmark's Prisons must establish a new detention center at Slagelse. The prison must be a modern and up-to-date institution with detention and serving places in a flexible structure, with safety and security that supports efficient workflows for the benefit of both employees, inmates and visitors. The prison is established in an agricultural landscape with fields as neighbors to the north and east, while to the west there are smaller agricultural buildings and private homes and gardens. The prison will be established on an area of ​​approx. 35 Ha and in a relatively hilly terrain. Within the specified project area, the terrain is hilly with a difference of over 28 m between the highest and lowest point. The buildings are established in one to two storeys, placed scattered on the plot, linked together by a road and path system. The total of the buildings floor area is approx. 45, 000 m2. The structure of the prison is divided into the following main functions: gate and goods functions, detention departments, specially secured detention department, joint functions (including employment, health and leisure facilities), personnel functions and support functions. The construction is offered in two major contracts: one maturation and construction contract and one security contract. The purpose of the advance notification and the information meeting is to make all potential suppliers aware of the tenders and the upcoming one process.
