INVITATION TO BID FOR THE REHAB/CONCRETING OF TALIC ROAD TO DAM PUROK 7, BARANGAY TALIC, OROQUIETA CITY



The CITY GOVERNMENT OF OROQUIETA, through its 20% LDF - CY 2018 intends to apply the sum of ONE MILLION NINE HUNDRED NINETEEN THOUSAND FIFTEEN PESOS AND FIFTEEN CENTAVOS (P1, 919, 015.15) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for INF-18 September 25, 2018. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.



The CITY GOVERNMENT OF OROQUIETA now invites bids for the Rehab/Concreting of Barangay Talic Road to Dam, Purok 7, Barangay Talic, Oroquieta City (135 ln.m.). Completion of the Works is required at Seventy Five (75) Calendar Days. The prospective bidder must have completed an SLCC that is similar to the contract to be bid within Five (5) years from the date of opening of bids, and whose value, adjusted to current prices using the PSA consumer price indices, must be at least fifty percent (50%) of the ABC to be bid: Provided, however, That contractors under Small A and Small B categories without similar experience on the contract to be bid may be allowed to bid if the cost of such contract is not more than the Allowable Range of Contract Cost (ARCC) of their registration based on the guidelines as prescribed by the PCAB. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary -œpass/fail- criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) 9184, otherwise known as the -œGovernment Procurement Reform Act-.

Interested bidders may obtain further information from the City Government of Oroquieta and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below during office hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

The CITY GOVERNMENT OF OROQUIETA will hold a Pre-Bid Conference on October 03, 2018 at 9:30 A.M. at BAC Conference Room, Ground Floor Records Building, City Hall, Oroquieta City, which is open to prospective bidders but attendance is not mandatory.

A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders on September 25-October 18, 2018 from the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee for the Bidding Documents in the amount of Five Thousand Pesos (P 5, 000.00).

Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before October 18, 2018 at 1:30 P.M. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in ATB Clause 18.

Bid opening shall be on October 18, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at BAC Conference Room, Ground Floor Records Building, City Hall, Oroquieta City. Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders- representatives who choose to attend at the address above. Late bids shall not be accepted.

The City Government of Oroquieta reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
