Scope of Work
The scope of work encompasses the following activities:
o Collect and analyse an appropriate number of tree-ring samples from the study area.
o Compile and perform the analysis of instrumental climate data for the Litani and Orontes Rivers.
o Develop the methodologies for the reconstruction of streamflow based on tree-ring data
o Calibrate and validate the reconstructed streamflow data against observed records.
o Assess the hydro-climatic variability over historical time scales.
o Prepare the comprehensive reports documenting methodologies, findings, and recommendations.
o Prepare and Present a detailed plan to setup a dendrochronology lab for the department of agriculture.
o Perform an analysis of hydroclimatic variability trends and their implications for water resource management.
o Perform a detailed plan to setup a dendrochronology lab for the department of agriculture
