Short description : The purpose of the study is to get a better picture of how wealth tax affects small and medium-sized businesses and their owners. There is a good deal of theoretically based research and studies on the effects of wealth tax. However, there is less empiricism that illustrates relationships between wealth tax, investments and ownership in Norway. The report announced here will contribute to a more empirically and professionally-funded debate on wealth tax. Based on register data or other microdata, we ask for an account of the effects of wealth tax on business with a focus on small and medium-sized enterprises.omp nies.
