Synopsis:
This is a special notice prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2 “Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions.”
The 409th Contracting Support Brigade, Kaiserslautern, Germany intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price supply contract to New River Systems Corporation, 19775 Belmont Executive PLZ, Ashburn, VA 20147. The purpose of this acquisition is to purchase Interview Recording & Management System (IRMS), brand name CaseCracker systems, for delivery and installation across 12 locations in Europe, Africa, and SW Asia.
The CaseCracker equipment being purchased is to modernize and standardize the capability to digitally record interrogations and interviews. New River Systems, the exclusive reseller for the manufacturer Cardinal Peak, is providing the development, installation and deployment of fixed/stationary Interview Management and Recording systems. New River Systems provides technical support, including installation, system enhancements, and includes warranties for hardware and software. New River Systems provides training to personnel to OCONUS locations on how to operate and troubleshoot system. The Case Cracker Onyx system includes: CaseCracker workstation with CaseCracker software pre-installed, internal DVD burner, monitor, speakers, keyboard, mouse, and 3-year hardware warranty and software license. The system performs motion Joint Photographic Experts Group (JPEG) compression of video/audio for two interview rooms with two camera views per room.
