Tender Details

The aim of this agreement is to appoint a contractor for the implementation of small-scale blue-green and climate adaptive measures in the public domain, on behalf of Aquafin and for the benefit of local authorities. The assignment includes: • softening works; • replacing existing pavements through water-permeable pavements; • the construction of wadis, infiltration facilities and buffer zones; • installing bulkheads, weirs or other facilities to promote water buffering; • the construction, adjustment or expansion of buffering and infiltrating plant areas; • planting ecologically valuable and regional plants; • the redesign of public spaces in terms of water management, greening and climate adaptation; • other small-scale measures that contribute to a climate-proof living environment. The specific assignments are always prepared by Aquafin (concept, design and/or elaboration of concept or design into a concrete implementation plan), coordinated and followed up. The contractor is responsible for the qualitative, safe and timely execution of the requested works in accordance with the provisions of the lastenboek.
