Interventional and Diagnostic Radiology Services - Regina General Hospital 1. PURPOSE The purpose of this document is to identify potential qualified vendors for the provision of continuous interventional and diagnostic radiology services at Regina General Hospital. Despite this EOI being posted on SaskTenders, this EOI relates to the provision of "health services" as described in Canadian Free Trade Agreement and the New West Partnership Trade Agreement, and this procurement is therefore not subject to those trade agreements. We invite interested radiology groups to demonstrate their expertise and commitment to providing outstanding care by responding to this Expression of Interest. 2. BACKGROUND Regina General Hospital is a tertiary care centre and offers a full range of Medical Imaging services including radiography, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, MRI, computed tomography, and interventional radiology. A table outlining the various service volumes can be found in Appendix A. A lack of radiologist capacity in Regina has led to gaps in the provision of service, particularly for interventional radiology. Capacity for breast imaging and intervention has also been a challenge in the city of Regina.
