International Media Support (IMS) is a non-profit organization that works to provide support to the media in countries affected by armed conflicts, or in contexts of human insecurity and political transition. It contributes, on four continents, to strengthening professional journalism and ensuring that the media can perform in challenging circumstances.

IMS works at the regional level to support the exchange of expert knowledge and promote dialogue between contexts that face similar challenges, maintaining networks of individuals with common themes and professional collaboration between media and civil society groups.

The program Implementing Resolution 1325 of the United Nations through the media aims to develop the capabilities of the media to contribute to the implementation of said resolution, through the coverage of issues related to gender-based violence, from a sensitive perspective to the conflict, while increasing the participation of women in public debate and decision-making through the media in Colombia, Myanmar and Syria.
