Description : International Institutional Consultancy for the strengthening of patronage nurse home visitation services in Montenegro.

The purpose of the assignment is to help strengthen the capacities of the health sector to play a supportive role in early childhood development for families and their children and in close collaboration with other sectors.

The main objective of the assignment is to create a pool of trainers consisting of relevant professionals in Montenegro who would in the future strengthen capacities of patronage nurses providing preventative MCH services and thus enhance the quality of home visiting services for mothers/families and young children. In addition, support to national partners to conduct a training needs assessment of nurses is envisaged in order to identify the most pressing topics for capacity development of nurses.

The training programme should be based on the eighteen modules developed by UNICEF Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia in cooperation with the Step by Step Association "Resource Modules for Home Visitors: Supporting Families for Nurturing Care" (https://www.issa.nl/modules_home_visitors).
