Tender Details

Since restoration of independence in 2002, Timor-Leste has focused its attention on addressing complex development challenges guided by its Strategic Development Plan to be upper middle-income country by 2030. Although some progress has been achieved, one of the areas that continues to be particularly challenging is sustainable environment and climate change. Climatechange is expected to have serious impact to the people in Timor-Leste, especially those living in the rural areas, due to altering weather patterns, increased temperature, heavy rainfall, sea level rise, landslides, floods, soil erosion, the frequency of extreme climate events and drought which contribute to deteriorating and damaging infrastructure, including buildings. They will be supported and facilitated by the Accelerator Lab equipped with innovative tools and techniques and new ways of solution implementation. The Accelerator Lab itself is established to introduce new services and approaches by sensing and exploring local current development challenges and opportunities, mapping local solutions and innovations, experimenting and tes...
