Work under this project include: 1.Painting of detachment. 2.Minor exterior repairs. 3. Removed 4. Replace second (aging) furnace as well as the split ac unit. A. The consultant shall evaluate the heating and cooling requirements of the spaces served by the furnace & the AC unit and provide newreplacements of adequate size. B. The new furnace replacement shall consider new source of fuel that would eliminate the need for fossil fuel supply/transportation to the site. C. new replacements shall be of energy saving and high efficiency performance attributes. D. Coordinate their operation withthe existing ventilation system and furnace. E. Review the conditions of the associated ductwork, controls, piping, power supply (as applicable), existing fuel tank and replace/modify as required to ensure the system is operational, reliable and functional . All work shall be in accordance to PMMstandards, NBC, ASHRAE 62.1, National Energy code and applicable codes and standards. Alternative options can include:1.electric furnace ; 2.electric baseboards; 3.Heatpump.
