the bureau of the fiscal service, on behalf of the office of financial research (ofr), intends to make award to global financial data (gfd), 29122 ranch viejo road - suite 215, san juan capistrano, ca 92675, on a sole source basis under the authority far 6.302-1, for a subscription to gfdatabase. Online global data contained therein includes asset class allocations, equities, fixed income, imports, etc., and covers various date coverages. Ofr requires comprehensive financial and economic data covering the major asset classes. The historical data must date at least as far back as 1896, which is the inception of the dow jones. The data must contain date fields that can be arranged based on user needs. In addition, the data must be grouped by time series according to major market influences (e.g., global financial crises, recessions, etc.), and the database must cover the major regions within asia, north and south americas and europe. The database must also contain data on the various macro-economic indicators like gross domestic product (gdp), consumer price index (cpi), unemployment rates, new home sales, government debt, commodities, equities, etc. Ofr requires these data in order to develop more relevant insights about financial stability by making it possible to link historical events based on the time series information, part of their mission.
