The USPFO for Hawaii intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis to CHARTER COMMUNICATION OPERATING LLC. The statutory authority which permits other than full and open competition for this acquisition is 41 U.S.C. § 1901, as implemented by RFO FAR 12.201-1, Simplified Procedures. Therefore, a Request for Quotation (RFQ) solicitation from a single source, will be issued to CHARTER COMMUNICATION OPERATING LLC. to provide equipment, support, connectivity for commercial internet and cable services on the Islands of Hawai-i, Maui, and Oahu for the Hawaii Air National Guard (HIANG).
The designated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 517111, Wired Telecommunication Carriers, with a size standard in number of employees 1, 500. Please note that this notice is not a Request for Quotations (RFQ); however, any response to this notice must show clear, compelling, and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government.
