Description
The U.S. Army Capabilities Program Executive for Simulation, Training, Testing and Threats (CPE ST3), Product Manager Combat Training Instrumentation Systems (PdM CTIS), intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed-price contract to Black Ohm, 100 S McClintock Dr. Ste 200 Chandler, AZ 85226, under the authority of RFO FAR 6.103-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
Background & Objective
The Soldier Monitoring System (SMS) is the Army-s materiel solution for Soldier monitoring, safety, and training performance analysis. Military training contains significant inherent risk, which is amplified during individual and isolated training such as land navigation. The SMS reduces these risks by providing persistent/real-time geo-tracking and automated alerts. The objective of this effort is to ensure continuity and delivery of efficient, effective, and quality services of upgraded or new solutions to the nation-s warfighters.
Scope of Work
The Contractor shall provide life cycle management to ensure SMS technology and equipment are maintained at or above 95% Availability (Ao) and provide necessary support desk capabilities.
