Program Manager Ground Based Air Defense (GBAD) within Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE) Mission Systems (MS) Marine Corps (MC) intends to negotiate and award on a sole-source basis in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.103-1 to RADA Technologies, LLC-s (hereafter referred to as RADA), 20511 Seneca Meadows PKWY STE 100 Germantown, Maryland 20876 United States, for the procurement of non-commercial RPS-62 radar systems, software/firmware releases and associated licenses, spares, ancillary components, maintenance and repairs, and engineering services for the Marine Air Defense Integrated System (MADIS) program. The RPS-62 radar system is a readily available solution that has been integrated within the size, weight, and power parameters of the JLTV, to include all electrical and mechanical interfaces. The RPS-62 radar system is also compatible with the MADIS software baseline. The RPS-62 radar system is the only known and currently available solution that satisfies Product Manager Future Weapon Systems- (PdM FWS) requirements.
The Government anticipates award of a hybrid Cost-Plus-Fixed Fee/Firm-Fixed-Price contract, with a period of performance of five years. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.103-1(c)(2)(iii) "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.” RADA is the designer, developer, and producer of the RPS-62 radar system.
This is not a request for competitive quotes. No formal solicitation package is available. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in responding to this notice; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to meet the requirements and past performance data no later than 1000 local time on 11 June 2026.
